Lindsay and Matt’s Pismo Beach Wedding

Lindsay and Matt escaped the Central Valley heat to have a beautiful wedding in Pismo Beach on June 20th. We were so honored to shoot their wedding. They met at Hoover High School (where Johnny teaches) and Lindsay was one of his photography students. We had to remind them not to call Johnny “Mr. Stafford” all day. They started the weekend right with a bonfire dinner (with food from Splash Cafe and Mo’s Smokehouse) after their rehearsal. Complete with coastal fog and a breeze, it was such an awesome location. The ceremony was held with a view overlooking the ocean at the Shelter Cove Lodge. With the annual car show in town, we stayed out of the crowds by the Pismo pier and found the perfect portrait location at the retro Kon Tiki Inn (next to the reception location). They granted us access to their private beach area and we just loved the view and lifeguard station there. We just loved working with Matt and Lindsay. They are so perfect for each other!
