Shannon & Tony’s Elderberry House Wedding

Ceremony: Yosemite Chapel
Reception: Elderberry House at Chateau du Sureau
Stylist: Bellissimo Brides
Floral: European Gardens
Officiant: Fr. Mike Lastiri
Cake: Creme de la Cake
DJ & Music Ensemble: Sierra Entertainment

You always know a wedding will be great when the groom makes a special request for a fun guys-only photo shoot. Right before the rehearsal we headed to Lewis Creek where Tony and the guys, dressed in tuxedo shirts, chased a bear mascot with toy guns (and the bear chased back). So fun!

Shannon and Tony’s wedding was a very special and elegant event. Things started before sunrise at Chateau du Sureau in Oakhurst where family and friends prepared for the wedding day. Everyone loaded the buses and limos early for the ride to Yosemite Chapel for a late morning ceremony. The ceremony was a beautiful Catholic Mass. After family photos, we spent some time in Yosemite Valley taking portraits around the park and then headed back to Elderberry House for the reception. Dinner was set outside in the wedding terrace and it was beautiful to see the light shining across the gorgeous linens and floral decor. The night continued with dinner dancing and lots of joy for this wonderful couple and their friends and family, who had all traveled from out of town for this celebration.
